English - Possessive nouns Monday

A possessive noun is a noun that possesses something, have something. In most cases, a possessive noun is formed by adding an apostrophe and s to the noun, or if the noun is plural and already ends in s, only an apostrophe needs to be added.
Example:
The ball of the boy.
The boy's ball.

The car of John.
John's car.

The house of the cats.
The cats' house.
